nnadia chan chung ling
Collaboration(s):
Cold Blood Warm Heart, Once Upon A Time in Shanghai
Chemistry: Good Relationship: Colleagues Work Again: Positive Chan is one rare kind. She came from a complicated childhood, but raised with a heart and a brain. She was discovered at age 15 through a singing competition. Blessed with a crystal clear and strong voice, Chan has devoted most of her music career to children songs instead of Canto-pop. At 18, Chan took up the role of an ill-fated diva in TVB series Songbird and became internationally famous among the Asian communities. All this while, she also managed to get her Theology degree at Chinese University of Hong Kong. Throughout the '90s, Chan is the leading actress in almost all of TVB grand productions. In the new millennium, Chan continued to explore her career in other parts of Asia. Her pairing with Maggie maybe minimal, but fans who saw their works together agreed that they have good chemistry together. Whether they play enemies or friends, both portrayed their characters well that their interactions comes in naturally without forcing it out. Cold Blood Warm Heart Maggie hates Chan in here. Maggie is upset that Chan steal the love of her life, Chilam, and yet, still dangling with her cousin, Louis Koo. She give Chan a good slap in the face--very memorable. Once Upon a Time in Shanghai Here, Maggie is the mistress of Chan's triad father. They are very friendly towards each other, unlike in CBWH. But there is also a distance between the two, Maggie knows every bad things her lover has done, while Chan is very naive of her favorite father. This relationship is beautiful portrayed by both. |
