Cold Blood Warm Heart Cheng plays Maggie's uncle, they are not close until Maggie's father passed away. Fans can already see there is a sense of appreciation in Cheng's acting style toward Maggie's. Once Upon A Time in Shanghai In spite of age as a disturbing factor, Maggie and Cheng pair up as lovers in this series. No matter how hard they try, their pairing still doesn't look right. It's not the age factor, it's the thinking that seems to have affected their performances. Cheng's gestures toward Maggie is as if he has to be careful not to touch her too much, making it seems like he only look after someone's daughter. Then again, Maggie at the then was still a stiff actress for many scenes.
