Chemistry: Excellent
Relationship: Doesn't get along very well
Work Again: Positive

It all started since Cold Blood Warm Heart when a paper reported Maggie and Julian Cheung Chi Lam showed up late for a filming together. No "charges" were brought against them. But later an anonymous reported that Hsuan paired up with Astrid Chan Chi Ching to bully the then-newcomer, Maggie, who was so quiet she seemed cold and friendless. The nasty rumors carried on to Old Time Buddy when Hsuan was upset that Maggie's lateness was excused by TVB. Hsuan came to the press, saying Maggie might have had a strong support by the TVB executives. Maggie was upset that Hsuan came to the press to publicize the issue instead of coming to Maggie for the story. Maggie accused Hsuan that Hsuan was seeking publicity at the advantage of others. The battle broke out and the media did no favors to cool it down. Since then, Hsuan carried on the reputation of getting in trouble with co-stars. While Maggie carried on the reputation of being late. For years the two remained cold enemies despite their shared friends have come between and tried to heel the conflict. No one really succeed until Wong He came along. Hsuan publicly apologized to Maggie for her misbehavior and both became great friends now. Despite the years when they were enemies and their current iffy situation, Hsuan and Maggie have an undeniably great chemistry together on the screen.
Cold Blood Warm Heart
Maggie is a romance ruthless and popular playgirl, while Hsuan is a passive, girl-next-door broad who chases after one of Maggie's preys.
Old Time Buddy & Old Time Buddy the Musical
Both play mega divas of the '70s. They do not rival, but is not particularly fond of each other.
A Recipe for the Heart
Maggie as the nosy food critic and Hsuan as the arrogant chef. They are definitely enemies in this series. Lots of great bickering scenes between the two.
Gala Spectacular '97
Both co-hosted with Lawrence Cheng Tan Sui. Very nice chemistry on screen despite that it was the peak of their conflict in real life.
Burning Flame II
No scenes together.
