Chemistry: Very Good Relationship: Master-Disciple Work Again: Positive Lau is an actor that still today every girls want a piece of. A veteran for over 30 years, Lau maintained a youthful personality and still physically well built. Having Maggie idolizes him, she asked him to be her mentor when they worked together in The Unexpected. Several years later they opposite once again, Maggie learned from Lau not just acting tips but also how to relax the body and the mind, by teaching her Qi Gung, an exercise similar to Tai Chi. Off screen, Maggie admires Lau very much because he is similar to her own father. The Unexpected Lau doesn't have many scenes with Maggie, but as Maggie's idol, off screen Maggie got acting tips from Lau. The Awakening Story Despite playing father-daughter, they don't have a lot of scenes together. Perhaps as in the storyline, Maggie doesn't get along with her father as much because of his so-called "infidelity." Nonetheless, each time Lau gaze at Maggie when she throws tantrum, there was something very genuine in their relationship. Maggie shows that there is a shield between her and Lau that barred her from confronting him about his "secrets", so she throws out her anger on revealing the secrets. And Lau, in return, was great portraying that shield.
